How we price, and what changes it.

Fees are for people and production. Media spend is paid by you to the platforms, in accounts you own. Scoopsrescueservices will give you a band in Singapore dollars, a list of what moves the number, and a clear note on what is never an extra line. The first meeting is not billed.

Three engagement shapes

Most briefs fit one of three shapes. We will not force a retainer onto a finite job, and we will not pretend a one-off film is a programme. Indicative monthly bands below are for our fee in Singapore dollars. Media spend is separate and paid direct by you. Production pass-throughs (a printer, a presenter, a specialist crew) are quoted before they are booked. Bands move with scope; they are a starting conversation, not a menu with a laminated price.

Project — fixed scope

A bounded piece of work: a positioning sprint, a site or landing system, a tracking rebuild, an identity kit, a campaign build with a start and an end. You receive a written scope, a calendar, and a fee. Change requests are priced before they are made.

Who it fits. A company with a finite gap and an internal team that will run the result. Also a first piece of work when neither side is ready to commit to a year.

Minimum term. The calendar in the letter — often four to fourteen weeks. A pause is allowed once; a second pause is re-quoted.

Indicative band. S$8,000–S$45,000 for the project as a whole, depending on whether a site, a film, or a full identity is in the brief. Monthly equivalents are a way of phasing cash, not a retainer in disguise.

Retainer — monthly programme

The full operating rhythm: roadmap, production, media management, content, analytics, the weekly stand-up and the monthly report. Staffing follows the bars we agreed. You can still start with a subset of services; the handover stays internal.

Who it fits. Organisations that need a marketing operation, not a single asset. Mid-sized B2B, a brand entering Singapore, a practice that has outgrown referrals.

Minimum term. Three months, then 30 days’ written notice. Typical programmes run six to twelve months because media and content need cycles.

Indicative band. S$8,000–S$18,000 per month for a focused programme (two or three lines). S$18,000–S$40,000 per month for a full-service operation with production. Above S$40,000 when several markets, heavy film, or a large paid programme must be staffed. Media spend sits on top, paid to the platforms.

Advisory — fractional marketing lead

Mira (and, as needed, a specialist) as a senior marketing lead for a team that already has hands. Roadmaps, vendor critique, hiring help, a monthly review of numbers you already produce. We are not trafficking ads on an advisory seat unless a sprint is scoped separately.

Who it fits. A founder or commercial lead who needs a grown-up counterpart, or an in-house marketer who needs cover at the plan layer.

Minimum term. A block of four sessions, or a monthly seat with a three-month minimum if we are in the operating rhythm.

Indicative band. S$5,000–S$12,000 per month for a fractional seat, depending on hours and whether specialists join. Day-rate blocks are quoted when a month is the wrong unit.

What moves the number

6 factors

What moves the number

How much of the stack we run. One service is a different staffing pattern from nine. A search-and-analytics brief does not need a film crew. A full programme does. We price the people on the roadmap, not a generic “agency fee”.

Production load. Photography days, film, a site, a large email rebuild — these are hours you can see. A month that only needs ads and a report sits at the bottom of the band. A launch month sits higher, and we will say so in the calendar rather than smoothing it into a number that then silently overruns.

Markets and languages. Singapore English-only is the base. Each additional market adds media hours, and each additional language adds translators and a native review. We do not treat “regional” as a free adjective.

The state of the accounts and the site. A clean transfer into well-named campaigns is cheaper than an archaeology project. A site that cannot take traffic will pull web hours into a media brief whether anyone planned it or not. Discovery exists partly to find those costs before they become a surprise invoice.

Approvals and regulated claims. Healthcare, and any category with a reviewer who sits outside Singapore, adds calendar and therefore cost. We would rather put a clinical or legal SLA in the letter than pretend a 48-hour turnaround is possible.

How much you already staff. An in-house editor, a buyer, a developer: these lower our hours if the RACI is honest (who does the work, who is consulted). They do not lower the fee if we are still expected to redo the work at 6pm. We will write the split of labour down. That document is what moves the number, not optimism about “collaboration”.

What’s never charged extra

What’s never charged extra

Reporting is in the fee. The monthly document, the dashboard you already have, the quarterly re-plan session: these are not “insights add-ons”. If the report is late, that is our miss, not a chance to sell a workshop.

Account access work is in the fee. Transfers, two-factor hygiene, named users, offboarding maps — this is how we can be replaced, which is part of being a decent vendor. We will not charge a “tech setup” line for joining your analytics property.

Weekly calls are in the fee. The stand-up and the fortnightly working session are the job. Extra working sessions during a launch are usually absorbed; a standing fourth meeting every week is a scope change and we will say so.

Corrections of our own errors are in the fee, immediately. A broken link we shipped, a mistyped price, a tag we mis-fired, a crop that cut off a name: we fix it. A change of mind after approval is a change request. The distinction is written in the process page and we will not pretend otherwise when it is inconvenient.

The first meeting is not billed. Neither is a short follow-up to clarify the four inputs we need to quote. A long diagnostic that starts to look like discovery will be named as discovery and scoped. We would rather have that conversation early than give away a week and then resent the work.

Payment terms

Payment terms

We invoice in Singapore dollars. Retainers are billed monthly in advance. Projects are billed 40% to start, 40% at the agreed midpoint, and 20% on delivery of the scoped work. Payment is due within 14 days. We can add a purchase-order number and bill a regional entity if that is how your finance team works; the currency remains SGD unless the engagement letter says otherwise.

Notice on retainers is 30 days, in writing, to hello@scoopsrescueservices.com. We complete approved work already in production and we do not start new media that cannot finish inside the window. Offboarding happens in those 30 days. Projects may be paused once; a second pause is re-quoted because the team has to be re-booked. Advisory blocks are prepaid; unused days lapse after 90 days.

Late payment pauses new production and media changes. It does not pause the report already owed for a month you have paid. We do not add surprise “finance charges” as a creative line; if a recovery cost exists it will be in the letter. Pass-through production is invoiced at cost when we have to put it on our paper, and we would rather you paid the printer directly.

Getting a figure

We can quote once we have four things. What you sell, in a sentence a salesperson would use. Who buys it, including geography. What should be different in six months. Roughly what you can spend on our fee and, separately, on media. Optional but useful: current monthly media spend, whether accounts are in your name, and whether an in-house person will stay in the mix.

Send those on the brief form or to hello@scoopsrescueservices.com. You will get a reply within one working day, usually with a suggested shape and a band, or with a request for a 45-minute meeting if the brief is still a fog. The meeting is with the people who would do the work. We do not mail a forty-page credentials deck while you wait.
