Marketing strategy & positioning
This is the written argument for why a buyer should choose you, who that buyer is, and what the next twelve months of marketing are for. We interview commercial leads, read the current site and ads, and look at how competitors actually show up in Singapore search and social — not how they describe themselves in a credentials PDF. The output has to be usable by a designer, a media buyer and a salesperson without a translator in the room.
What it covers: category position, audience map, offer hierarchy, proof points, and a roadmap that names channels, production load and the numbers we will watch. We will also write down what we will not do this year, because an unbounded strategy is just a wish list. If the product is not ready for a claim, the strategy says so instead of papering over it with adjectives.
- Positioning memo and a one-page message house
- Audience and job-to-be-done notes, with local search intent where it exists
- 90-day plan plus a twelve-month sketch
- Recommended budget split (fee versus media, and inside the fee)
- Measurement plan: leading and lagging indicators, with attribution limits stated
- A working session with your commercial lead to pressure-test the language
Who it suits: organisations that have activity without a spine — ads running, a site in motion, no shared sentence for what they sell. It also suits a regional brand entering Singapore that needs the home-market story rewritten for this city. It is less useful if you already have a sharp position and only need production hours.
